What the ranges include
All ranges are in Saudi riyals (SAR). Narrative Axis is not yet registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to invoices. Per-word rates are counted on the source text; a word count and a fixed quote are confirmed before work starts. The minimum engagement is SAR 1,500. Standard turnaround is agreed in the quote, at about 2,000 source words per working day for translation and 4,000 words per working day for editing; delivery faster than that carries a 25 percent surcharge, and same-day or weekend delivery 50 percent. Work begins on receipt of a 50 percent deposit from every client, with the balance due within 14 days of delivery for individuals and within 30 days for institutions; retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Clients outside Saudi Arabia may be invoiced in US dollars at the riyal's official rate of 3.75 to the dollar. Quotes are valid for 30 days, working days are Sunday to Thursday (Riyadh time), and each quote includes one round of revisions within 14 days of delivery.
